I am so tired tonight! You can tell you’re getting old when staying up until 11:30 to watch politics wears you out the next day! I am excited the results were worth watching, to me anyway!
Since I’m tired, and since I haven’t stamped in a few days, I am going to post something that will shock you! Ha ha. It’s my disaster of a stamping room:
It’s also my office, but the little card table is
where I do all my stamping work. As you can tell, I must have been busy. I’m a messy creative mind!! I did clean it up since this picture was taken. Only time will tell how long it will stay clean.
On a more creative note… I am attending my first craftshow in December. I have made nothing for it yet, except for these handy bookmarks. I am really loving how they turned out. most of them anyway. I bought 48 more of these big paperclips the other day, so I am going to get to work on them this weekend. I think my favorite is the owl… mostly because I love that set!!:)
On a completely random side note… I’m thinking of switching my blog over to blogger.com. I have my personal (not very exciting, though…) blog there, and I find it so much easier to use then wordpress. Plus, I’m kind of a “that’s what everyone else is doing” type of person… and I’m wooed by how many blogger blogs there are. So, if I move locations, I’ll let you know.
It’s my birthday on Friday! Woot woot!!

Just a short blog tonight… I’ve got a husband awaiting my company at our new big screen TV.
Tonight I placed my very first SU! order as a demo. I am hosting a class on Nov. 14 and 15 to make Christmas cards, and I had to order all that goodies. I’m so nervous about it now! Eep! The order was (of course) more than I wanted it to be, as since I’m new to demoing, I had to order paper, ribbon, brads, blah, blah blah because I don’t have any. So, my guests are getting quite the bargain! I had to pay $150 of my own money to order enough supplies. Eep! (and the Season of Friendship set, which I’ve been drooling over for a month now!)
I keep telling myself it will all work out in the end. I have ELEVEN people coming to my very first class! And 4 or 5 of them are people I don’t know…. friends of friends. So I think the potential is definitely there for a good customer base. If I can book a show or two from this class….. it will totally wipe out the $150 in supplies I had to buy!
Oh! I’ve made my quarterly minimum with this class — and will reach commissionable sales for the month of November. So it can’t be THAT bad, right? And hubby didn’t get too mad when I told him the “overs.”
When I get the stuff and make my samples, I will definitely post pictures. (I also hope to post pictures tomorrow of what I’m working on in the moment. Today got too busy!)

Oh, I’ve gone and done it. Those crazy gals over at Split Coast Stampers have wooed me with their pretty blogs with their pretty Stampin’ designs and I’ve gone and started my own blog. It’s not gorgeous yet. It’s not grand yet. But it will be. Just you wait and see.
I became a Stampin’ Up demonstrator on Oct. 11, 2008 (I remember the date because it was the last day of the extra free set of stamps deal! I got in just under the wire). I haven’t even had a workshop or a class yet…. but I have some stuff coming up. My first class, $30-for-30 Christmas cards, is set for Nov. 14 and 15. I have 4, maybe 5 people coming for sure…. several other “maybes.” I count this as a success, as a business needs to start somewhere. My first workshop is with my good friend Molly, who is the one who got me into staming in the first place. She’s so gracious to be my first! I hope to make some good connections at her party & get at least one more booking from it.
But, on to the good stuff! Let me post a blog candy for you to see. Afterall, isn’t that why we are all blogging? To see what others are doing in the stampin’ world??
Here is my SC200 contribution. I have a million birthdays in Nov. & a new stamp set. So that is what I came up with. Here are the details:
